Service controller and responsible entity for this website is the German Social Insurance Working Group Europe e.V., c/o DRV Bund, GB 0300, Ruhrstraße 2, 10709 Berlin, Germany. It is represented by its executive board members: Gundula Roßbach, Dr Doris Pfeiffer and Dr Joachim Breuer. 

 

The German Social Insurance Working Group Europe e.V (hereinafter controller) complies with all applicable data protection laws and also endeavours to constantly improve data protection. 2. The subject of data protection

The subject of data protection is personal data according to Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation EU (GDPR). This includes all in-formation that allows a conclusion to be drawn about an identified or identifiable person, such as name, address or contact information (e.g. telephone number, postal address and email address). We take data protection very seriously in our organisation. All our employees and external service providers have agreed to protect confidentiality and to comply with data protection regulations.

Generally, the controller collects, processes and uses personal data only insofar as the GDPR or other legal regulation allows or requires this to be done, or if you have consented to this as a user or visitor to our website. 

 

The following personal data is processed as a user of our website: Contact details such as first name, last name, address, name of your organisation/company, telephone number/mobile number, and email address.

The controller only collects and uses personal data in connection with the provision of this website insofar as this is allowed by the GDPR or other legal regulations, or where the user has given their consent.

a) Transmission of your data within the organisation 

In order to be able to send you official comments and position papers from the German Social Insurance European Representation, the following data will be processed within the organisation: 

Contact details such as first name, last name, address, name of your organisation/company, telephone number/mobile number, and email address. 

 

b) Transfer of your data to third parties  

Insofar as this is necessary, we pass on personal data to companies that we use in connec-tion with data processing (data processors) in compliance with data protection regulations. The controller transmits personal data to the external IT service provider Hesse Design, 40479 Düsseldorf, Gartenstraße 49, Germany, which operates a database of personal data on behalf of the controller; this is used to send out the controller’s newsletters. 

 

In addition, personal data is forwarded to external social insurance providers or health insur-ance funds with the consent of the user when a user enquiry is made. 

 

c) Transmission of your data to recipients in countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area  

The operator does not transfer any personal data to US companies or companies outside the European Economic Area for data processing. Data on cookies and plugins regarding your surfing behaviour are collected, transferred to the USA and assessed on an anonymous basis. Further information on this can be found in Sec-tion 7 below. You will also find information on how you can opt-out of this.

Based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and market-ing purposes in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, Matomo collects and analyses data about users of our website. Matomo uses cookies that are stored on a user’s computer and which allow a user’s use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on the provider’s server in Germany. 

 

The IP address is pseudonymized immediately upon collection. The information generated by the cookies is not used to identify visitors to the website. Furthermore, no personal data is combined via the bearer of the pseudonym. 

 

Users can prevent the installation of cookies via their browser software settings. 

 

You can decide whether a unique web analytics cookie may be stored in your browser in order to allow the controller of the website to collect and analyse various statistical data.
