30 Years of German Social Insurance European Representation
Bismarck on the move: Get digital. Go green!
ANG – 03/2023
30 years ago – at the same time as the
establishment of the European Single Market – the German Social Insurance European Representation
(Deutsche Sozialversicherung Europavertretung – DSV) was founded. Since then, the DSV has been representing
the interests of the umbrella organisations of German Social Insurance the statutory accident insurance, statutory health and long-term care insurance, locally in Brussels at European level. The DSV
is celebrating its anniversary with an event to be held in Brussels
on 27 June.
Panel discussions: digitisation and climate
Against the background of the European
Green Deal, the Digital Decade and the European Pillar of Social Rights, the
European Commission has opened the discussion on how the necessary
transformation process triggered by digitisation and climate change can be
shaped by sustainable, resilient and efficient social protection systems. This
is precisely what DSV would like to discuss at the anniversary event with
guests from national and European politics as well as with representatives of
high-ranking European organisations.
