25 years ago, the German health and long-term care insurance, German pension insurance and German accident insurance opened a representative office to the EU in Brussels. The European Representation of the German Social Insurance invited on 7 March 2018 to its anniversary event in Brussels. The anniversary event began with a conference at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the European Union on the topic ‘Bismarck meets Bytes: Digital Change and Social Security’ and was concluded with an evening reception in the Bibliothèque Solvay.

The anniversary event was a great success! We thank all the guests, the speakers and the panelists, with their interesting and inspiring ideas that contributed to this event. We thank the moderator for her successfull leadership during the conference.
